I'm a software developer at Microsoft, working on the ASP.NET team. I've previously worked on the CodePlex and patterns & practices teams.
I grew up in Michigan, in the metro Detroit area, where I lived and worked almost continuously until 1999 (with a 15-month stint in Boston). In 1999, I moved to Denver, Colorado, and then in 2005 moved to Seattle, Washington.
I'm an active contributor to several open source projects, including xUnit.net and ObjectBuilder.
I'm an early-curve technology adopter and an agile development enthusiast and coach.
In my spare time, I enjoy gaming of virtually all types: card games (especially poker and Tichu), board games (Puerto Rico, Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, etc.), and video games (my desktop PC and my Xbox 360 are locked in a battle to the death; I'll let you know how it comes out).
