A humorous variation on the classic card game Spades, very much like Oh Shit!. You do not need to know how to play Spades to play this game.
Players:
4 players
Cards:
One standard 52-card deck.
Object:
Each hand results in points being scored (see "game play"). The object is to be the person with the most points at the end of the game.
Game play:
The game is played in 13 rounds, starting with one card per player, and each round going one more card per player (round 2 has 2 cards, round 3 has 3, etc.).
For the first twelve rounds, the cards and dealt, and one of the leftover cards is flipped. The suit of this card is trump (meaning, cards of the trump suit always beat cards of the non-trump suits). For the thirteenth round, there are no leftover cards, so there is no trump.
Each hand starts with bidding. Starting with the player to the dealer's left, each player decides how many tricks they can take, given their hand. You must follow the suit of the first card played in a trick; if you do not have a card in the played suit, you may choose to either play trump to try and take the trick, or you may play an off suit card.
If you take the number of tricks you bid, you get 10 points plus your bid (so, if you bid 2, you would get 12 points). You can bid zero if you don't think you can take any tricks. If you don't take the number of tricks you bid, you don't get any points.
Unlike Oh Shit!, there are no restrictions on the bidding. The total number of bid tricks is allowed to be equal to the total number of tricks available.
Play starts with the player to the left of the dealer. The winner of the trick begins the next trick. The hand is over when everyone is out of cards. Scores are marked, and the deal goes to the next player to the left of the last dealer.
